Peugeot concept car presented BB1


The French car manufacturer Peugeot is the Peugeot model BB1, a new concept of an electric car at the IAA 2009 in Frankfurt am Main to the public. The concept car has four seats and is only 2.50 meters long. The Peugeot BB1 has a small turning circle and indeed less than four meters. It was an electric motor with 20 HP installed capacity and has a top speed of 100 km / h. The small electric car can accelerate in 6.8 seconds to 60 mph and there are only 2.8 seconds from 0 h to 100 km /


The trunk has a capacity of 160 liters and can be extended to an impressive 855 liters. The weight of the Peugeot BB1 amounts to only 600 kilograms and is light weight. According to the manufacturer, the concept vehicle is ideal for everyday use and have a high space utilization. The rear, and side mirrors were replaced by cameras and offer both the driver and passengers a clear overview. The air conditioning and indoor blowers are powered by solar panels on the roof with power.
