Corsair announces DDR3 memory with 2250 MHz
The modules of the Dominator-GTX series run with latency settings of 8-8-8-24 and 1.65 volt power supply sony vgp-bps2a battery. They are suitable for the Intel P55 and X58 platforms. With the restrictions it can also be used on AMD mainboards.
Corsair has introduced a new series of DDR3 memory for overclockers, the modules can be operated with up to 2250 MHz with latency settings of 8-8-8-24 (CL8) and a 1.65 volt supply. The hand-selected and tested 2-Gbyte modules of the series Dominator GTX sells the memory specialist tomorrow, 8 December, in limited quantities exclusively through its online store sony vgp-bps2c battery.
The memory modules are suitable for the Intel X58 and P55 platforms with the sockets LGA1366 LGA1156 respectively. They can be used but also on AMD 790FX motherboards with chipset and AM3 socket. However, the Maximaltakt sinks to 1800 MHz. For this shorter latencies of 6-6-6-18 (CL6) at 1.65 volts are possible.
During the cooling Corsair uses its patented Dual-Path Heat Exchange Technology (DHX +), which combines a heat sink and detachable Kühllammellen. The latter also allow for greater overclocking potential for water cooling sony vgp-bps8 battery.
Prices will give only Corsair to launch known. In mid-November had a G. Skill dual channel memory kit with 2200 MHz clock as the world’s fastest DDR3 kodak cr-v3 battery memory presented. It interacts with P55 boards latency settings 7-10-10-28 at 1.65 volts and is now to be had for around 160 €.
